In a press statement, Ola Electric informed that it has reserved number one Ranked first in the national electric two-wheeled vehicle manufacturers for eight consecutive months. While two of its models have reportedly been favored by potential buyers, the Bengaluru-based company has also been setting up Ola Experience Centers, which are essentially offline locations where buyers can shop more Learn about products and services.

Ola Electric said it will soon have 500 such centers in the country, aiming to have 1,000 by August. Furthermore, the company added that it has also been expanding its Hypercharger network and said last month that it has 100 such charging stations at 50 locations in Bengaluru alone. It is also crucial to the growing number of Ola Electric customers (currently over 200,000) as they can easily choose their charging method on the go.

Ola Electric follows the online retail process. “To further accelerate this momentum, we will continue to aggressively expand in terms of products and expand our D2C network to meet this demand,” said Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer of Ola.

Since the launch of the first model in 2021, the company’s growth has been quite remarkable, although it has also seen its fair share of controversy. Earlier this year, Ola Electric announced that customers of the S1 Pro and S1 electric scooters can get their front forks replaced. This comes after multiple reports of unfortunate accidents across the country.
