Ola Electric said on Tuesday that it sold more than 30,000 electric scooters in April, helping it capture about 40% of the market in the country. Ola Electric currently offers two models – Ola S1 Air, starting at ¥85,000 and the Ola S1 is priced at ¥From 100,000.

Ola Electric follows the online retail process. “To further accelerate this momentum, we will continue to aggressively expand in terms of products and expand our D2C network to meet this demand,” said Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer of Ola.
Since the launch of the first model in 2021, the company’s growth has been quite remarkable, although it has also seen its fair share of controversy. Earlier this year, Ola Electric announced that customers of the S1 Pro and S1 electric scooters can get their front forks replaced. This comes after multiple reports of unfortunate accidents across the country.
