The Porsche Macan EV will be the automaker’s second all-electric vehicle and is expected to launch in 2024.

Test mules for the Porsche Macan EV have been spotted several times. However, new teaser images show the upcoming EV in a very different way than the prototype. It looks sleeker, heavily influenced by the Porsche Taycan EV, the car brand’s first electric vehicle. The teaser image shows the new crossover from the side, and visually, the rear profile appears to be more sloping than the outgoing combustion-engine-powered model, similar to that of the Panamera and Taycan. The taillights also look similar to the Taycan EV. The Macan EV appears to feature a sleek red LED strip across the width of the car, a design element seen on the Taycan EV and many other modern vehicles.

The design sketches did not reveal the front profile or interior of the upcoming Macan EV. However, expect the EV to feature sharp, sleek LED headlights and a Taycan-influenced front profile. Inside the cabin, you can expect a variety of advanced tech-assist features along with a spacious and comfortable feel.

Talking about the specs of the Porsche Macan EV, the car will ride on the new PPE architecture, a dedicated EV platform and run on 800-volt technology. The EV platform is capable of housing a 100 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. However, the car’s power and torque outputs, as well as the EV’s range, remain a mystery. It is expected to produce a peak power of 603 horsepower and a peak torque of 1,000 Nm.
