Bengaluru-based automaker Pravaig Dynamics has showcased their first electric SUV for the Indian market.It’s called Defy and it costs ¥3.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the electric SUV is scheduled to enter the manufacturing phase in the second quarter of 2023. So, as of now, only pre-orders are open. Now, Pravaig Dynamics has revealed that they will be supplying the Defy with a full carbon kit. As of now, it’s unclear if Pravaig Dynamics will use original carbon fiber or what the pricing will be.
In the images shared by Pravaig Dynamics, it can be seen that the entire exterior of the Defy electric SUV is made of carbon fiber. If this was real carbon fiber and not just waterlogged, the body panels would be significantly lighter. Technically, it also helps increase the Defy’s range.

Speaking of range, Pravaig Dynamics claims 500 kilometers on a single charge. The manufacturer claims the Defy has a top speed of 210 km/h and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
The capacity of the battery pack is 90.2. kWh, it can reach 80% in 30 minutes. The power system outputs a maximum power of 402 bhp and a peak torque output of 620 Nm. All this power is sent to all four wheels, thus providing an all-wheel drive system. Pravaig claims the battery pack should be good for 2,50,000km.
In addition to the carbon fiber finish, Pravaig Dynamics will also offer 11 different paint schemes for the Defy. Available in Bordeaux, Lithium, Imperial Purple, Siachen Blue, Hindigo, Moon Grey, Haldi Yellow, 5.56 Green, Shani Black, Kaziranga Green and Vermillion Red.
