Revolt Motors announced on Monday that bookings for its flagship electric model, the RV400, have resumed after a huge rush in the first phase of bookings, with all units snapped up in just two hours.

Pre-orders for the RV400 will resume from 12 noon on July 15, the company said in a release. It will be available for pre-orders in six cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.
The RV400 is Revolt Motors’ flagship model.The company claims to have sold ¥The model was valued at Rs 50 crore in the first round.

The RV400 gets its power from a 3 KW (mid drive) electric motor with a 72V, 3.24 KWh Li-Ion battery. The electric motorcycle is capable of traveling at a top speed of 85 km/h. It gets the MyRevolt Connect app, which features geofencing, custom sounds, bike diagnostics, battery status, ride data, and more.
The Revolt RV400 has three different riding modes – Eco, Normal and Sport. These riding modes are said to offer different performance. It has upside-down (dollar) forks and a fully adjustable monoshock in the rear.
In a statement on Sunday, Revolt Motors said the bikes were being dispatched from its greenfield manufacturing plant in Manesar, Haryana, to customers across the country.
While there are several companies in India that offer a variety of electric scooters, electric motorcycles are quite rare. Revolt Motors took the opportunity to launch its range of e-bikes.
