The Super Meteor 650 made its India debut at the recently concluded Rider Mania 2022 in Goa, Royal Enfield’s annual motorcycle event. But not many people know that another motorcycle has appeared in the event and already has fans all over the country. The bike in question is the Royal Enfield Classic 500, which is making a special return as a limited-edition offering. Now, before you head to your nearest RE dealer to pre-order, one small question. While this Classic 500 is the real deal, you can’t actually ride it because it’s a 1:3 scale model of the original.

A fitting collectible from Royal Enfield, the Classic Collectible is a 1:3 scale scale version of the original Classic 500, actually with moving parts to mimic its 1:1 version in the tiniest detail. Royal Enfield said recreating the motorcycle in a smaller version required more skill. The Classic Collectible weighs 8.5 kg, measures 762 mm long, 381 mm wide and 259 mm high. It has more than 250 individual moving parts, including front and rear suspension, throttle, brake and clutch levers, and more. Components such as the teardrop-shaped fuel tank, side panels and body sections have been painted to mimic the original classic motorcycle.
Speaking of which, the 1:3 Royal Enfield Classic Collectible is available in eight colors – Gun Grey, Teal, Chrome Black, Redditch Red, Maroon Chrome, Battle Green, Desert Storm, or Jet Black.Prices for scale models are ¥67,990 pieces, limited quantities. Potential customers can pre-order the limited-edition Classic Collectible ¥2,000 online.
