Royal Enfield will announce Super Meteor 650 pricing tonight. The Tamil Nadu-based motorcycle maker is ready to launch its new flagship and first dedicated cruiser. The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 made its global debut at EICMA last November, and the model is first entering the Indian market. We’ve ridden the new Super Meteor 650 and our review will be out tonight at 8pm.
The new Super Meteor is built on a new chassis, while power comes from the familiar 648 cc parallel-twin engine tuned to 46.7 bhp at 7,250 rpm and peak torque of 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm. The motor is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The model is equipped with quality components including LED headlamps, Tripper navigation pod, analog instrument cluster with digital display, Showa USD front forks, rear dual shock absorbers, adjustable bars, alloy wheels and more. Stopping power comes from disc brakes with dual-channel ABS at both ends.

The new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 takes its name from the Super Meteor 700 sold in the 1950s. Although the style is new, it retains the main highlights of the brand’s traditional collection. The bike features a new frame and relaxed ergonomics. Two variants are offered – Solo Tourer and Grand Tourer.
Deliveries of the new Super Meteor 650 will begin in a few weeks, and the model will hit global markets in a few days. The Super Meteor 650 kicks off a line of products the manufacturer will launch this year.
