Royal Enfield reported its January 2023 sales, with the company’s cumulative sales (domestic + exports) at 74,746 units, up 27% year-over-year. By comparison, the motorcycle maker sold 58,838 units in January 2022, a lower baseline that is the result of a market recovery in the post-pandemic era.
Domestic sales continued to dominate, with 67,702 units sold last month, up 36.2% from the 49,726 units sold in January 2022. Exports for the same period fell from 9,112 units, down 22.7 percent from the 7,044 units sold for the year before.

Commenting on the January 2023 results, Royal Enfield CEO B Govindarajan said: “We started the year with encouraging home market results. The Super Meteor 650 is our most anticipated cruiser, and last month Launched in India and Europe, the response has been fantastic and initial pre-orders are promising.”
