Skoda Happy Hound Dog Playlist

Developed by leading dog behaviorist Anna Webb, Happy Hounds includes songs scientifically proven to help canines feel calm.

The beats per minute (BPM) of the selected song mimics a dog’s heart rate. Simulated heart rate has been shown to have a soothing effect.

The choice of music genre is also important, Webb notes that “it turns out that dogs love reggae,” and that heavy metal may disrupt their sleep cycles.

Webb also gives tips on how to make your dog feel more comfortable while traveling. This includes securing them with seat belts before getting into the car, making sure the temperature in the car is set to 20C and turning the music volume down first.
