India’s leading EV maker Tata Motors will unveil three new EVs at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023. The trio, which will be electric versions of its flagship models such as the Harrier and Safari SUVs and the Altroz hatchback, were teased a day before the show. These three electric vehicles will be showcased in addition to electric concept cars such as the Curvv and Avinya. Tata is also expected to reveal the EV incarnation of the Punch subcompact SUV.
Tata Motors currently offers three electric vehicles – the Nexon EV, Tigor EV and the recently launched Tiago EV. Bringing the Punch, Harrier, Safari SUV, and Altroz hatchback under the EV umbrella effectively converted its entire ICE fleet to EVs as well. It will help Tata Motors have the largest fleet of electric vehicles offered by any automaker globally.
