Tata Nexon EV gets more affordable, now starts at Rs 14.49 lakh

Tata Motors is currently leading the electric four-wheeler market with its product line. Their most successful product is the Nexon EV, which is also their first EV. Now, the brand has revised the starting prices of the Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV Max.Tata Nexon EV Prime now available at ¥1.449 million, while the Nexon EV Max starts at ¥1.649 million. Both prices are ex-showroom prices.

Tata Motors offers the Nexon EV in two battery sizes. The smaller battery has a capacity of 30.2 kWh, while the larger one has a capacity of 40.5 kWh.

According to MIDC, the range of the Nexon EV Max has now been increased to 453 km. Dealers will offer this range boost to current Nexon EV MAX owners via a software update beginning February 15, 2023.

Features now available on the Nexon EV Prime XM include projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, digital TFT screen, start/stop button, cruise control, ZConnect connected car technology with smartwatch connectivity, Harman infotainment system and automatic climate control.

So far, the Nexon EV Max series started with the XZ+ variant. However, now the brand has launched a new XM variant, which helps bring down the starting price. It features Electronic Parking Brake, Automatic Climate Control, Electronic Stability Program with i-VBAC, Projector Headlights with LED DRLs and LED Tail Lights, Push Button Start, Digital TFT Instrument Cluster, ZConnect Connected Car with Smart Watch Connectivity Technology and other features and rear disc brakes.

Prices for the high-end XZ+ Lux have been revised.current cost ¥1.849 million ex-showroom. It features leatherette seats with ventilation, wireless charger, auto-dimming IRVM, air purifier, power sunroof, HARMAN 17.78cm floating infotainment system with 8 speakers, 16-inch alloy wheels, shark fin antenna and hillside system control, etc.
