Not only does the Tata Nexon EV Max have more range, but it also has a bigger infotainment screen. The screen inside the Nexon EV Max XZ+ LUX variant has been updated and now measures 10.25 inches, Tata Motors announced on Friday.
The updated Nexon EV Max variant is now priced at ¥The version included with the 33 kW AC charger is 1.879 million (ex-showroom). The main thing about the big screen powered by Harman is that it’s a high-definition display that continues to support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
In addition to around 180 voice commands, the screen displays information from the high-definition rearview camera and supports voice assistance in six languages - English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telegu and Marathi .
The Nexon EV Max was launched as a more powerful version of the popular Nexon EV. While there are no changes in terms of exterior design and styling, one of the highlights of the new model is its battery pack, which is around 30 percent larger than the one inside the Nexon EV. This helps it claim a range of over 400km per charge. Real-world range is probably around 330 kilometers, which is still a big jump over what the Nexon EV offers.

It can also power the Nexon EV Max faster, as a 7.2 kW AC fast charger is available as an optional extra. With this charger, the EV can be fully charged anywhere between six and seven hours. The EV is offered in two broad variants – the XZ+ and XZ+ Lux – both of which can be chosen between a 7.2 kW AC fast charger and a 3.3 kW AC charger.
