Popular Telugu actor Nagarjuna and his wife Amala Akkineni have added the Kia EV6 electric SUV to their garage’s latest addition. The couple was recently photographed posing with the brand new EV at their residence in Hyderabad, where they recently received a white Kia EV6. A Kia dealership in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad shared the photo on its social media earlier this week. The EV6 electric SUV is the flagship EV launched by the South Korean auto giant in India last May.
Nagaro is one of the very few actors who bought a Kia EV6. Among those who own the electric SUV is Malayalam actor Mohanlal. Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni also recently bought a Kia EV6.
Kia offers two variants of the EV6 in India: GT Line and GT Line AWD. EV6 prices in India start at $6.095 lakh (ex-showroom), while higher variants cost $6.595 million (ex-showroom). The EV6 is a technological cousin of the Ioniq 5 electric SUV that Hyundai unveiled earlier this year. Both EVs are based on the same Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) platform jointly developed by the two South Korean auto giants.
ARAI claims the EV6 has a range of 708 kilometers. Using a 350 kW DC fast charger, the 77.4 kWh battery pack can be charged from 0% to 80% in 18 minutes. A home charger takes approximately 36 hours to fully charge the battery. The EV6 is also equipped with vehicle-to-load (V2L), which can be used to run electrical appliances or charge another vehicle.

In terms of performance, the Kia EV6 is one of the most powerful EVs in India. The electric motor in GT Line AWD models is capable of producing 325 PS of power and 605 Nm of peak torque. The EV can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds.
The Kia EV6 also comes with a few features. It features a large 12.3-inch curved display that includes the infotainment screen and driver display, a head-up display, zero-gravity seats made from sustainable materials, a vehicle loading feature that helps it power other appliances or electric Cars, etc. provide power. The electric SUV offers Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology, among other safety features.
