With the Tesla Cybertruck set to enter production, more and more electric pickup truck prototypes have been spotted. The latest discovery comes from near the electric car company’s factory in Fremont, California. The test mule that was spotted was fitted with different steel rims, never seen before, and it also had several wires strapped to its body. However, the car’s design, along with various other styling elements, remain the same as the other prototypes, despite new rims and taped wires on the outside.

A wheel force sensor is a multi-axis precision measurement system that captures the three force factors and moments on a rotating wheel. Development and testing of complete chassis and chassis components intended for use in different vehicles such as passenger cars or SUVs. Even commercial vehicles, racing cars and industrial vehicles use the device. During testing, wheel force sensors replace standard wheels and measure the forces and moments acting on the tire contact surface.

In this case, it’s clear that the automaker is testing how the car will perform under real-world driving conditions as it fine-tunes the electric vehicle before starting mass production.

It’s the latest addition to a list of Cybertruck prototype sightings that has grown significantly over the past few months, as the car company prepares to unveil the Cybertruck a few months after a long wait since November 2019. An electric pickup. The funniest thing is that Tesla Cybertruck prototypes are always finding something new.
