The MG Comet EV was officially launched in the country on Wednesday with a starting price of ¥798,000 (ex-showroom). Comet EV is available in two models. MG Motor India is targeting city-centre buyers with the Comet EV, emphasizing its range and compact size to highlight the model’s practicality.
The Comet EV is the second all-electric model from MG Motor India after the ZS EV. However, it is very similar to the ZS EV and is positioned in the country’s entry-level EV segment, which currently has models like the Tata Tiago EV and Citroen eC3. The Comet EV has a two-door, four-seater setup, and besides per MG’s specs, it’s also perfectly suited for everyday urban commuting.
