When it comes to custom motorcycles, most shops prefer to work with Royal Enfield as they are easier to work with and can be modified to suit the client’s requirements. Here we have a custom Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 that has been converted into a buoy. Neev Motorcycles have done the modification and they call this version “Kaptaan”.

As you can see from the pictures, the shop did some great work to make the motorcycle stand out as a buoy. It is finished with a custom paint job. The body panels are finished in bright gray, while the chassis, exhaust, engine and wheels are powder-coated and anodized in black.

Neev Motorcycles had to make a lot of custom parts for this build. The gas tank is triangular like we’ve seen on some custom chopper motorcycles. It’s all handcrafted, as are the fenders, tool box, fork caps, carburetor caps, handlebars, stems, and exhaust caps.

The swingarm is now longer and was made by the shop specifically for this motorcycle. There’s also a removable rear seat with a frame. The motorcycle is designed as a floater, so it has a single seater that is also custom made. The motorcycle now rides on 15-inch alloy wheels. The alloy wheels are a nice addition, as it means the shop can run tubeless tyres. The front tire size is 140/90-R15, while the rear tire size is 140/90-R15.

The shop also adds some high-end aftermarket accessories to give the motorcycle an even more attractive look. It now has a new LED headlight, taillight and turn indicators. There’s also new handlebar-end mirrors, a digital speedometer and grips.

Suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic forks at the front and twin gas-filled shock absorbers at the rear. Braking tasks are performed by the front and rear brake discs. The suspension and brake setup haven’t changed, so that’s what Royal Enfield used to offer for the Thunderbird 350.
