A 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring by highest gear Host Chris Harris is currently up for auction.
Listed on the Harris-approved Collecting Cars website, the 992-generation GT3 Touring was purchased by the TV star and respected journalist last year.
The GT3 became part of Harris’ extensive car collection, alongside his beloved yellow 991.2-generation 911 GT3 Touring. Other sports cars owned by Harris include the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 and the classic Ferrari 512 TR.

The auctioned 911 GT3 Touring was built to Harris’ exact specifications, featuring Custom Paint Samples Exterior color. The deep ocean blue finish is very subtle compared to his yellow Touring.
Inside, the car initially featured red leather carbon fiber bucket seats. Harris later hired Porsche specialist Justin Placek to have the insert trimmed with blue tartan upholstery.
A front axle lift system, climate-controlled air conditioning and LED headlights are also included.

A visually extroverted version of the 911 GT3, the Touring option sees the usual massive rear wing ditched by a pop-up spoiler.
However, the car still uses a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six producing the same 510 horsepower, sending power to the rear wheels only. Buyers can choose a transmission for the GT3, but Chris Harris specified a six-speed manual.
That translates to a 0-62mph time of 3.9 seconds, and a top speed of 198mph.

During his ownership of the GT3 Touring, Harris added 6,468 miles and made the most of its capabilities.
However, in recent instagram videohe explained that he didn’t have the “financial or emotional” room to buy two versions of the same car.
