The Triumph Scrambler 400 X measures 2,117mm in length, 825mm in width and 1,190mm in height. The seat height is 835mm and the wheelbase is 1,418mm. The wet weight of the motorcycle is 179 kg.

The Yezdi Scrambler, on the other hand, has a height of 1,263mm, a length of 2,154mm and a width of 900mm. The seat height is 800 mm and the wheelbase is 1,403 mm. The Scrambler weighs 182 kg.

Powering the Scrambler 400 X is the all-new TR Series engine. It was a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine with a cubic capacity of 398.15 cc. It puts out 39.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 37.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission with slip assist clutch.

The Yezdi Scrambler has the same engine as the Roadster and Adventure. It’s a 334 cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine producing 28.72 bhp and 28.21 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

Triumph Scrambler 400 X vs. Yezdi Scrambler: Hardware

The Scrambler 400 X features a 43mm upside-down big-piston fork at the front and a gas-charged monoshock with preload adjustment at the rear. Braking duties are performed by 320 mm discs at the front and 230 mm at the rear. Switchable dual-channel ABS is also available.

Yezdi outfitted the Scrambler with 41mm telescopic forks at the front and dual preload-adjustable shocks at the rear. Braking duties are handled by 320 mm discs at the front and 240 mm at the rear. It also offers switchable ABS.
