Triumph Street Triple 765 available for pre-order, launch March 2023

The biggest update to the Street Triple series comes in its engine. The engine now has a new combustion chamber, higher compression ratio, higher cylinder pressure limitation and new pistons. The result is 118 bhp for the Street Triple R and 128 bhp for the Street Triple RS. Torque output rises from 79 Nm to 80 Nm. The motorcycle’s transmission has also been revised for improved acceleration and responsiveness.

Triumph has also optimized cornering ABS and switchable traction control. The Street Triple R has four riding modes including Road, Rain and Sport. The RS, on the other hand, has five riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport, Rider and Track. The tech onboard these motorcycles includes Bluetooth functionality, shift assist up and down quick shifters, ride-by-wire throttle, immobilizers, and more.

Triumph claims that the new Street Triple 765 series has better ergonomics, ensuring a better riding experience. The bars on the Street Triple R and RS models are 12mm wider. The motorcycle also features a fully adjustable suspension and a lightweight chassis with an improved power-to-weight ratio. The Street Triple RS uses track-specific Pirelli tires, while the Street Triple R uses Continental tires.

Design-wise, the basic silhouette remains the same, but some minor styling updates sharpen it up. It gets dual LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, a new 15-litre muscle tank, updated radiator shrouds and new chunky mufflers.
