Triumph India has launched the long awaited Street Triple 765 series in the Indian market. The 765 series received a considerable upgrade. The manufacturer made cosmetic and mechanical changes to the motorcycle. Here are five things to know about the 2023 Triumph Street Triple.
2023 Triumph Street Triple 765: Upgraded Engine
Triumph has made several improvements to the engine. It now has a higher compression ratio, new pistons, connecting rods, shorter gearing and piston pins. The exhaust system is also now smoother. Thus, the Street Triple R peaks at 120 PS at 11,500 rpm, while the RS and Moto2 Edition now produce a class-leading 130 PS. Peak torque of 80 Nm is reached at 9,500 rpm.
2023 Triumph Street Triple 765: Exterior changes
At first glance, it may not be possible to spot the difference between the old and new motorcycles. The manufacturer kept the bug-eye headlight design, but the fuel tank extension has also been redesigned and the tail is now sharper. Additionally, fuel tank capacity has been reduced from 17 liters to 15 liters, making the motorcycle feel more compact.
2023 Triumph Street Triple 765: No Moto2 version
Triumph has yet to launch the top-spec Street Triple in the Indian market. It’s called Moto2 and it’s available in two race-inspired paint schemes. It features clip-on handlebars, carbon fiber body, unique Moto2 launch screen, individually numbered top yoke markings, Öhlins fully adjustable fork and official Moto2 branding.

2023 Triumph Street Triple 765: Electronics Package
All variants of the Street Triple come with a quickshifter and cornering ABS, with traction control as standard. The new Street Triple R features four riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport and Rider Configurable. The Street Triple RS and Moto2 Edition have five riding modes, adding a track mode to the R’s four standard modes. The RS and Moto2 also feature a 5-inch TFT screen with turn-by-turn navigation.
2023 Triumph Street Triple 765: Price
Street Triple 765 R sells for ¥1.017 million, while the Street Triple 765 RS costs ¥1.181 million. Both prices are ex-showroom prices.
