A total of 50 TVS iQube electric scooters were delivered to Zomato delivery partners at an event in Hyderabad.

The cooperation between the two parties covers six strategic areas including products, charging ecosystem, sustainable development goals and digital integration. TVS’ battery-powered scooters will enable Zomato delivery partners to make green last-mile deliveries. Partners who join can also use charging stations within their radius and get smooth digital integration.

The association is in line with both companies’ commitment to green and sustainable mobility solutions. TVS aims to get its e-scooters into different mobility segments, while Zomato aims to accelerate EV adoption through its last-mile delivery partners. Manu Saxena, Senior Vice President Electric Vehicles, TVS Motors, said: “With the success of the TVS iQube, we are expanding our electric offerings into multiple market segments, and last-mile delivery services are at the perfect inflection point to accelerate electric vehicle adoption. “.

The association is in line with Zomato’s commitment to the climate group’s “EV100” initiative, which means 100% adoption of electric vehicles by 2030. The Climate Group is an international not-for-profit organization with a mission to drive accelerated climate action to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050 by mobilizing and raising awareness among businesses and governments.

The TVS iQube is the only electric scooter currently available from the brand. It comes in two variants – Standard and S, while the top-of-the-line ST variant is not yet available in the country. The standard iQube and iQube S come with a 3.4 kWh battery pack and are claimed to have a range of 100 kilometers per charge. The scooter is equipped with a TFT screen with functions such as route guidance and music control.
