Supported by a steel trellis with an aluminum hatch, the Ultraviolet F77 takes inspiration from jet fighters as the basis for its distinctive shape. The company did a redesign, increasing the handlebar height and lowering the seat height to make the bike better for riders of all sizes. There are no visible bolts on the F77 to keep its design clean.

Power comes from a PMS direct drive motor. The F77 Original and Recon variants have 38.8 bhp (29 kW) and 95 Nm of peak torque. Top speed is 147 km/h. There are three riding modes – Glide, Combat and Ballistic. The F77 comes with two fixed battery options – 7.1 kWh and 10.3 kWh – with 21700 format cells. The bike promises a range of 206km and 307km (IDC) with either battery pack. The 10.3 kWh battery is also the largest battery pack on any electric two-wheeler in India.

Both batteries are covered by an 8-year/100,000km warranty. The bike is fast-charging and can charge up to 35 kilometers per hour. There’s also a Boost charger option that offers an hour-long charge in 1.5 hours for a range of up to 75km. A full charge takes approximately 7-8 hours on a standard AC charger.

Other mechanicals include adjustable 41mm USD forks up front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear, the same as on the F77. The bike has 320mm front disc brakes with 4-piston calipers, while the rear has 230mm disc brakes with single-piston calipers. Bosch-sourced dual-channel ABS is standard. The wheelbase is approximately 1360 mm and the weight distribution is approximately 50:50. The F77 also comes with a 5-inch TFT screen and a host of smart features including geo-fencing, vehicle locator, locking, driving analysis, collision detection and more. Many of these features can be accessed through smartphone apps.
