Variants of the Ultraviolet F77 electric performance motorcycle explained

Ultraviolette has launched the F77 electric motorcycle in the Indian market. It will be available in three colorways: Supersonic Silver, Stealth Gray and Plasma Red.Motorbike prices start from ¥3.8 lakhs (ex-showroom), up to Rs. 550,000 (ex-showroom). It will be sold in three variants and here are the differences between them.

Ultraviolet F77

The F77 is the base model priced at ¥380,000 (ex-showroom). According to IDC, it is powered by a 7.1 kWh battery pack and has a range of 206 kilometers. The standard F77 weighs 197kg and the battery pack comes with a 3-year or 30,000km warranty.

Peak power output is rated at ¥36.2 horsepower and a torque output of 85 Nm. The top speed is 140kmph, the 0-60kmph acceleration time is 3.4 seconds, and the 0-100kmph acceleration time is 8.3 seconds.

Ultraviolet F77 Reconnaissance

Then there’s the F77 Recon, which costs ¥455,000 (ex-showroom). It comes with a larger 10.3 kWh battery pack and IDC claims a range of 307 kilometers. Weight has also increased to 207kg thanks to the larger battery pack. The warranty period is 5 years or 50,000 km.

Peak power output is rated at 38.9 horsepower and 95 Nm of peak torque. Its top speed is 147 km/h. The Ultraviolet F77 Recon can do 0-60 kmph in 3.1 seconds and 0-100 kmph in 8 seconds.

The F77 Limited will be limited to 77 units, each of which will be individually numbered. It will also be finished in a Meteor Gray Afterburner Yellow color scheme. Ultraviolette F77 Limited sells for ¥550,000 (ex-showroom). The battery pack is the same as the F77 Recon, so the range and weight are the same.

The Ultraviolette boosts output to 40.5 hp and peak torque is rated at 100 Nm. The top speed of the F77 Limited is 152 km/h. Acceleration times are improved due to the increased power. It can do 0-60 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 0-100 km/h in 7.8 seconds.

The manufacturer offers a warranty of 8 years or 1,00,000 km. A Boost charger, lever guard and pneumatic wheels are also standard on the F77 Limited, optional on other models.
