Volvo EX90 Excellence electric luxury SUV breaks shell, promises 650km range

Talking about its design, the EX90 Excellence is visually similar to the Volvo EX90. On the exterior, the car sports a two-tone paint theme. It also features specially designed 22-inch forged rims. These are to ensure better aerodynamic efficiency, the automaker claims.

There are some significant changes to the cabin compared to the standard version. The most notable change in its cabin is the removal of the third row of seats. Volvo ups the ante on EV luxury by swapping out the second-row seats for two individual seats separated by the center console. The chairs have pillows for extra comfort, and the console also houses a refrigerator capable of holding large beverage bottles.

The center console of the EX90 Excellence is made of natural wood. It also features a large Orrefors crystal that controls the fragrance dispenser. It has a control panel for controlling the annoying and massaging seats as well as mood lighting. The EX90 Excellence features a wool blend or Nordico interiors made from recycled materials like pet plastic bottles.

Talking about the technologies available in the car, they are the same as those available in the three-row model. It has standard 5G connectivity and features a 14.5-inch center screen for infotainment and vehicle functions. In terms of powertrain, the EX90 Excellence features a massive 111 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor setup that sends power to all four wheels. The SUV produces a peak power of 496 hp and 909 Nm of torque. In addition, this SUV can travel 650 kilometers on a single charge.
