WardWizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd., a manufacturer of electric two-wheelers under the brand name Joy, reported that the company sold 43,914 electric scooters and electric motorcycles in India in 2022, a growth of 131.6% compared to FY2021. 18,963 electric vehicles were sold. Also, the electric two-wheeler maker claimed to have shipped 5,400 electric vehicles in December 2022, a 39.89% increase compared to 3,860 units in the same month last year.
The automaker also said it sold 30,493 electric two-wheelers in the first three quarters of this fiscal year, between April and December last year. Compared with the sales of 17,340 electric two-wheelers in the same period of the previous fiscal year, the car company saw a growth of 75.8%.

Commenting on the growth outlook for 2023, Yatin Gupte, Chairman and Managing Director of WardWizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd. said that 2022 will be a significant year for the company, with new sales milestones achieved and new market segments entered , and expanded its influence in the global market.
He also said the company was successful in fulfilling buyers’ wishes, recording triple-digit growth in 2022 compared to the previous year. “With the increasing adoption of electric vehicles, we look forward to new opportunities in the industry; overcome previous challenges and observe strong growth momentum.
