Tesla vehicles involved in fatal accidents are nothing new. However, some accident reports have had considerable ramifications, as did the latest one involving a Tesla Model 3. Video footage captured by a Teslacam has been posted on social media showing a Tesla Model 3 completely scrapped in a frenzied crash. A Youtube channel called Wham Bam Teslacam reported that two Tesla Model 3s were driving on the same road when one of them collided badly with a Ford van.
The impact resulted in severe damage to the affected Tesla Model 3, with the right front fender destroyed. However, another Model 3 owner was lucky not to be the victim of the crash. The video says Model 3 owners Darius and Hunter are heading to work, one in a black Tesla and the other in a red Tesla. The red Tesla electric car collided with a white work van that swerved in front of the electric car but stopped suddenly in the middle of the road.

The van was not visible from a safe distance as the two Teslas drove across the hill. When the van appeared, it was too late to react. The affected Teala EV swerved to the left of the van to avoid a collision, but crashed into the van. He regained control of the vehicle before nearly hitting traffic in the oncoming lane. The black Tesla swerved abruptly to the right of the van, causing a near miss.
The police rushed to the scene quickly and determined that the driver of the truck was at fault because the vehicle was making a dangerous turn. The report further stated that neither driver of the Model 3 was ultimately injured. Affected EV owners contacted the truck driver’s insurance company to request compensation for the repair. However, the estimated cost of the repairs has not been disclosed, the report said.
