Ather Energy recently refreshed its product portfolio, discontinuing the 450S and launching a new low-cost version, the 450X, which is now the most affordable electric scooter in the range. The high-end version of the electric scooter is now simply called the “450X with Pro Pack.” So, what does the Pro Pack offer?
Ather 450X Pro Pack: Riding Modes
The Ather Energy Pro Pack offers five riding modes. There are Warp, Sport, Ride, Eco and SmartEco. Thanks to the riding modes, the electric scooter can exhibit different riding ranges depending on the mode. In Eco mode, the TrueRange is 105 kilometers, in Ride mode it is 85 kilometers, in Sport mode, the range drops to 75 kilometers, and in Warp mode, the electric scooter’s TrueRange is 65 kilometers.
Ather 450X Pro Pack: Charge Time
With the Pro Pack, Ather Energy can significantly reduce charging time. The 0-100% charge time was reduced from 15 hours and 20 minutes to just 5 hours and 40 minutes. Additionally, the 0-80% charge time was reduced from 12 hours and 15 minutes to 4 hours and 30 minutes.
Ather 450X Pro Pack: Ather Mesh Compatibility
The Pro Pack also gives the scooter access to the manufacturer’s fast-charging network, called Ather Grid. It is one of the fastest growing charging networks in India. When the battery percentage is between 0-50%, the Ather Grid can increase 1.5 km/min, then when the battery percentage is between 50-80%, it will decrease to 1 km/min.
Ather 450X Pro Pack: Parking Assist
The Pro Pack also adds Park Assist, which helps riders back up. It can come in handy when the scooter is parked and the rider needs to drive it out of the parking space.

Ather 450X Pro Package: Auto Hold
Auto Hold is one of the latest features added to the 450X electric scooter. It holds the scooter on uphills and downhills without any input from the rider.
Ather 450X Pro Pack: Battery Warranty
The Pro Pack increases the battery warranty from 3 years or 30,000km to 5 years or 60,000km.
Ather 450X Pro Package: Features
There’s a multi-color dashboard that gets embedded SIM, Bluetooth, adaptive screen brightness and themes, guide me home lights, auto-switching turn indicators, and music and call controls. Then there are the Ather Connect features, which include features like on-board navigation and maps, document storage, mobile apps, OTA updates, ride statistics, tracking, remote charging monitoring, and trip planning. On top of that, the Pro Pack adds accessory compatibility for tire pressure monitoring systems.
