Bajaj launched its first electric scooter in 2020. It was named Chetak because the original Chetak scooter was a huge success in the Indian market. For 2023, Bajaj Auto introduces the Chetak Premium Edition, which comes with some upgrades over the standard Chetak. Here are all the differences between Bajaj Chetak and Chetak Premium Edition:-

Bajaj Chetak vs Chetak Premium Edition: Appearance changes

Bajaj Chetak and Chetak Premium Edition look very similar. The Premium Edition gets body-coloured mirrors, two-tone seats and branded decals on the rims. Additionally, the armrest and footrest castings are finished in Charcoal Black. Overall, the Premium Edition does look more upscale than the Standard Edition.

Bajaj Chetak vs Chetak Premium: New Colors

Bajaj has added new colors to Chetak Premium Edition. Available in Matte Coarse Gray, Matte Caribbean Blue, and Satin Black. Standard trims are Brooklyn Black, Velluto Rosso, Indigo Metallic and Hazel Nut.

Bajaj Chetak and Chetak Premium: What’s New

In terms of features, the Bajaj has added a color LCD console to the premium version, while the standard Chetak has a digital instrument cluster.

Other features offered include LED lighting, LED daytime running lights, rear sequential turn indicators, USB charger under the seat, keyless entry, smart key, Hill Hold Assist, rollover detection, soft-touch and backlit switches, Parking brake and connection technology.

Bajaj Chetak vs Chetak Premium Edition: Battery and range

No changes to the motor or battery. It can travel 108 kilometers in Eco mode on a single charge. Reverse mode and power mode are also available. The three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor has an output of 20 Nm at 1,950 rpm.

Bajaj Chetak vs Chetak Premium: Prices

In terms of pricing, Bajaj Chetak is priced at ¥120,000 compared to the cost of Chetak Premium Edition ¥151,000. Both prices are ex-showroom prices.
