Triumph has launched the 2024 Scrambler 1200 and Scrambler 900 globally. Both motorcycles are now available in new color schemes. The manufacturer did not make any changes to the overall design of the motorcycle. The engine and other mechanical components also remain the same. Both motorcycles are expected to enter the Indian market later this year or early next year.
The Scrambler 900 is now available in two new color schemes. Available in Cosmic Yellow and Graphite. Both come with jet black fenders, frame covers and rear panels. These colorways will ship alongside matte khaki and jet black options.
The Scrambler 1200 is only available in one new paint option, Matte Sandstorm. It will be available in Jewel Black, Matte Khaki, and Matte Jet Black. The fuel tank, headlight housings and stripes on the side panels all feature a jet black finish. The benches feature a brown color scheme.
The Scrambler 900 continued with a 900 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crank. It produces 64.1 bhp at 7,250 rpm and a peak torque output of 80 Nm at 3,250 rpm. The gearbox in operation is a 5-speed unit.
Then there’s the Scrambler 1200, which has a 1200cc parallel-twin engine with liquid cooling and a 270-degree crank. It puts out 88.7 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 110 Nm of peak torque at 4,500 rpm. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox with slip assist clutch.
Recently, the brand has just launched the Speed 400 in the Indian market. Deliveries are expected from the first week of August. The Scrambler 400 X, also due in October 2023, shares its underpinnings with the Speed 400 but has slightly different body and mechanical components.
