Citroen has teamed up with toy manufacturer Playmobil to create a scale replica of the iconic 2CV.

The Playmobil 2CV will be available to order later this month following its official unveiling at the Retromobile Paris show.

Playmobil adds some notable characteristics Up to 2CV scale, including a removable roof and opening boot. The latter can accommodate a pair of milk churns, though not the famous “egg basket” the 2CV was designed to carry across the field.
The kit includes optional clear headlights, or for added Gallic glam, yellow lenses.
One sticker allows a selection of many different European license plates, as well as national identification stickers.

Produced from 1948 to 1990, the Citroen 2CV became one of the best-selling cars in the world. More than 5.1 million examples were built, including 1.2 million van versions.

The 2CV joins Playmobil’s extensive collection of officially licensed vehicles. Other recent additions include the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS and Mercedes-Benz 300SL.
