Kawasaki India has launched the 2023 Z900RS in the Indian market.Motorbike prices start from ¥1.647m ex-showroom, deliveries will start end of March ’23. The 2023 Kawasaki Z900RS will be available in two color options. Available in Candy Tone Blue and Metallic Diablo Black. The Z900RS is known as the sibling of the Z650RS, which also has a neo-retro design language.
The Kawasaki Z900RS features round headlights, a slim fuel tank and a compact tail. Some design elements of the Z900RS were taken from the Z900-B1 introduced in 1977. Despite being a relatively modern motorcycle, the Z900RS has retro elements.
All the lighting elements on the motorcycle look retro, but all use LED units. There are alloy wheels designed in the shape of spokes. They measure 17 inches. The instrument cluster adopts a dual-dial analog design and also provides a small LCD screen,
The Z900RS uses a trellis with 41mm inverted fork suspension at the front and horizontal rear link suspension at the rear. Braking duties are handled by twin 300mm discs at the front and a single 250mm disc at the rear. In addition to that, the Z900RS comes with KTRC or Kawasaki Traction Control.

Powering the Z900RS is the same engine as the Z900, a naked street bike. It was a 948 cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It produces 107 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque output of 95 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The duty transmission is a 6-speed unit with assist and slip functions.
