Mahindra recently revealed the pricing of their first electric SUV, the XUV400, which is essentially an electric version of the XUV300. However, Mahindra has made some significant changes. Now, the brand has announced that it will auction off the XUV400 Exclusive Edition. The exclusive edition will be revealed for the first time in November 2022. The auction will begin at 11:00 am on January 26th and end at 11:59 pm on January 31st.
The one-of-a-kind XUV400 will be delivered at an exclusive Mahindra event at the Formula E weekend in Hyderabad on 10 February 2023. Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra will hand over the XUV400 Exclusive Edition to the highest bidder in the auction.
Mahindra has not made any mechanical changes to the XUV400 Exclusive Edition
Designed by Mahindra’s Chief Design Officer Pratap Bose in collaboration with young revolutionary fashion designer Rimzim Dadu, the one-off exclusive edition will debut at the Mahindra Tech Fashion Tour on 28 November 2022. The winner will also receive an exclusive pass to India’s first all-electric FIA Formula E Championship in Hyderabad on February 11, 2023. Additionally, the winning bidder may choose to donate his/her bid to support the winners of the Mahindra Rise Sustainability Champion Awards announced on Nov. 28, 2022, and/or donate the amount to a non-profit organization of their choice. Additionally, Mahindra will match winning bids and distribute them in support of the Mahindra Rise Sustainability Champion Award winners and/or non-profit organizations.

The XUV400 Exclusive Edition is available in the Rimzim Dadu Dazzle Blue body color with copper accents. Hence, there’s a two-tone copper roof and piano black alloy wheels. In addition, there are Rimzim Dadu x Bose logos in some areas.

The cabin features luxuriously designed leatherette seats with elaborate Rimzim Dadu blue embroidery. The second-row seat armrests feature elaborate logo detailing and sit proudly on premium leatherette material. The designer duo also envisioned a range of accessories such as cushions, seat belt covers, key holders, carry-on pouches and premium everyday duffel bags, all upholstered in Rimzim’s exclusive metallic fabric material.
