Ather Energy reports 329% annual growth, 12,149 vehicles sold in January 2023

ether energy It’s been an eventful month, with many events throughout January. The company held its first Community Day, rolling out the Atherstack 5.0 software update to customers in attendance. The updated software brings new features, including a new user interface, Auto Hold function, new vector maps, and future additions such as cruise control, crawl control, and advanced regeneration.

Commenting on sales for January 2023, Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Commercial Officer, Ather Energy said, “We have had a great start to the year with 12,419 units delivered to customers, our best monthly sales ever. We organized We’re really excited about the response we’ve received at our largest ever EV Community Day event. We’ve also launched Atherstack 5.0, our latest software upgrade that brings many new features to our scooters, such as Google Vector Maps and AutoHoldTM. Ather also announced an industry-leading 5-year warranty on its scooters and showcased four new colors for its scooters. On the retail side, Ather continued to expand its retail presence at a rapid pace with the opening of 13 new stores in January Ather currently has 102 Experience Centers in 80 cities. Our expanding presence coupled with exciting new features for our scooters has contributed to our volume growth.”

The company also rolled out its 100,000th electric scooter last month, celebrating a major milestone. Ather has also expanded its retail presence, opening 13 experience centers across cities including Erode, Ahmedabad, Hosur and Guntur. The manufacturer also announced that its customers will drive more than 389 million kilometers in 2022 as part of its second annual report.
