It’s been a long wait, but Formula E is finally taking place in India, and the inaugural Hyderabad Electric Grand Prix is set to take place this weekend. Ten years later, a global racing event was held in India. Eleven teams will race on a grid of 22 cars. Since the track is brand new to all drivers, it will make the race an interesting one to watch.
The 2.835km street circuit stretches along the iconic Hussain Sagar Lake overlooking NTR Gardens and Lumbini Park. If you can’t take a city trip yet, don’t worry too much. What should I pay attention to?
The Hyderabad e-Prix schedule runs over two days. The first free practice session will take place on Friday, while the second free practice session will be held on Saturday, followed by qualifying and the race at 3pm CST. Here is the full schedule:
