Harley-Davidson motorcycles have a certain cult following. One might be able to spot a large group of riders on weekends. Typically, there are several Harley-Davidsons that have been extensively modified. Here we have a Harley-Davidson 48 converted by Maratha Motorcycles. The shop makes minor changes to the motorcycle to convert it into a helicopter.
The Chopper is a custom motorcycle that has a revised steering angle and most of the unused parts removed for a clean look. Forty Eight has now finished the Nardo Gray paint scheme and looks very attractive. Many people have been opting for the Nargo Gray paint scheme, and the color’s popularity has been rising rapidly. This color was created by Audi and is usually used on their RS vehicles.
Maratha Motorcycles made several small cosmetic upgrades to the motorcycle.
Certain parts of the motorcycle are also finished in black. For example, rims, handlebars, headlight covers, engines, girly bars, and swingarms. The spark plug wireset is reddish orange which really makes the engine stand out. Speaking of the engine, the shop hasn’t made any changes to it.
So it’s still an air-cooled 1202 cc V-Twin. It produces a peak torque output of 96 Nm at 3,500 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a one-down four-liter mode.

Beyond that, the fuel tank, side panels, and front and rear fenders have custom graphics that were painted by Maratha Motorcycles. One of the chopper’s most important differentiators is its handlebar, which the custom shop installed a mini-ape hanger-style handlebar. In the back, there’s a custom girly bar with “Harley-Davidson Motorcycles” written across the center. There are also multi-function turn indicators and a float seat.
