Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India have launched the updated Activa 125 in the Indian market.price from ¥78,920 to ¥88,093. Both prices are ex-showroom prices. The Activa 125 will be sold in four variants, Drum, Drum Alloy, Disc and H-Smart, the new top variant. There are no major changes in terms of exterior upgrades. The scooter is available in five colors. Available in Pearl Night Start Black, Heavy Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Precious White and Mid Night Blue Metallic.
Honda Activa 125 is now OBD2 compliant. The engine is the same 125 cc fuel injected unit. The engine produces 8.19 bhp at 6,250 rpm and a peak torque output of 10.4 Nm at 5,000 rpm.
There’s also an idle start/stop function that should help improve fuel economy. Honda also uses new fuel-efficient tires to further improve fuel efficiency. The engine also comes with eSP for silent start, among other features.

In terms of functionality, there’s a side-mounted kill switch, an exterior fuel filler cap, an opening glovebox and LED headlights with LED position lights. The small digital screen can display various information such as real-time mileage, remaining mileage, fuel gauge, average mileage and time.
High-end models are equipped with smart keys, which can realize functions such as smart search, smart safe, smart unlock and smart start. The smart key can be used to find the scooter in the parking lot. When the Answer Back button is pressed and the scooter is within 10 meters, the turn indicators will flash twice.

The anti-theft system automatically activates the anti-theft function after the key is out of the range of 2 meters. There is no traditional keyhole. Instead, there is a single knob that can be used to turn on the ignition and start/stop the engine. If the key is within 2 meters, the owner can open the seat, fuel tank cap and handle by turning the knob.
