Yamaha Motor India has launched the YZF-R15 V4 Dark Knight Edition in the country, priced at ¥182 thousand (ex-showroom, India). The new Yamaha YZF-R15 V4 Dark Knight Edition offers new color options for the popular motorcycle, bringing a matte black and gold paint scheme to the motorcycle. The gold highlights are particularly striking, extending to the alloy wheels, Yamaha and R15 branding, and the dollar front forks.
Yamaha YZF-R15 V4 Dark Knight Edition Priced Compared to Retail Price at ¥186,000.Also, it’s about ¥1,000 more expensive than the red tone listed at ¥181,000 (all prices, ex-showroom India). Aside from a new paint scheme, the R15 V4 remains mechanically unchanged, carrying over all the hardware.

Power comes from a 155 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled electric motor tuned for 18.1 bhp and 14.2 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The Yamaha YZF-R15 V4 comes with USD front forks and a rear monoshock, while stopping performance comes from disc brakes with dual-channel ABS at both ends. The bike also features full LED lighting with projection lens headlights, a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, and more.
The Yamaha R15 V4 remains one of the most enjoyable motorcycles in the segment. It competes with the KTM RC 125 and KTM RC 200, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and many others. The R15 V4 will also soon face competition from the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR 210 ¥15,000-180,000 (ex-showroom) price range. The latter is expected to go on sale later this year.
